RadarVane is operated by D4 Enterprises LLC. This page describes what the website and iPhone app collect so forecasts and ads can work.
Location
If you allow it, we use your device location to load the nearest station observation, NWS forecast, models, alerts, and radar. Search uses the place you type instead.
Account
A signed-in account stores your email, saved locations, and settings so they stay in sync between the website and the iPhone app. RadarVane Plus status is stored with that account after you subscribe on iPhone.
Advertising
If you are not a Plus subscriber, Google AdSense and AdMob may show ads beside the forecast. Google may use cookies or device identifiers as described in Google’s advertising policies. Plus removes those ads.
Forecast sources
The website requests public NWS, NOAA HRRR, and Open-Meteo data for the location you chose. The iPhone app uses WeatherKit plus those sources. Forecasts are not observations.
